If you’ve made a few projects but need help with a certain step of the weaving process, join us for these refresher courses. This is a hands-on course using the classroom looms. You can bring your own loom if you’d like, if you already have a project in progress.
Please register for the “Get Warped” class if you want to fully warp your loom during a class session.
In the refresher class, we will discuss and practice these steps in setting up your loom to begin weaving:
calculating and measuring the warp
winding the warp yarn onto the loom
threading the yarn through the heddles and reed
basic weaving techniques using shuttle sticks and pick up sticks
